Record Voter Turnout in Polling Stations Across Kosovo

The parliamentary elections on December 28 have entered history in terms of voter turnout at polling stations within Kosovo. According to the processing of over 97.5% of polling stations, 885,514 citizens exercised their right to vote.

In percentage terms, this means that more than 44% of eligible voters participated in the elections.

The previous record was set on February 9 this year, when 871,662 voters had cast their ballots at polling stations within Kosovo. Including votes from the diaspora and other representations, the total had reached 966,000 votes.
