The Central Election Commission (CEC) has processed 47.75% of the counted votes for parliamentary candidates so far. Among the leaders of political parties, the head of Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, has received 165,893 votes to date.
He is followed by the leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Bedri Hamza. With 1,221 polling stations processed out of a total of 2,557, Hamza has so far received 75,124 votes.
In third place is the leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, with 36,190 votes, followed by the leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, who has received 18,184 votes.
In the 28 December elections in Kosovo, 1,999,204 citizens were eligible to vote, of whom 899,517 exercised their right to vote.
Based on the votes counted so far from 2,557 polling stations, Vetëvendosje Movement has secured 49.34% of the vote.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo has received 20.98%, the Democratic League of Kosovo 13.57%, while the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo has obtained 5.66%.
