The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has congratulated the citizens of Kosovo for the maturity demonstrated on election day.
She stated that there is now clarity in the election results regarding the formation of new institutions. In an interview with IndeksOnline, she said that 2026 will bring good news.
“My message is that all political parties should contribute to the swift formation of institutions, but not only that. There are urgent decisions awaiting the country, including the Kosovo budget, as well as the ratification of international agreements which we attempted to pass during the outgoing mandate, but without success. I am convinced that all parties will support these agreements,” Osmani said, among other remarks.
The Head of State also addressed accusations from opposition parties regarding her alleged closeness to the government, as well as her readiness to run for another term as President.
