Oslo’s main airport closed one of its runways on Sunday after a drone was spotted flying in the airport area, according to a statement from the Norwegian police.
This incident is the latest in a series of unexplained drone sightings across Europe since September. Some drones have disrupted civilian air traffic, while others have flown near military bases and sensitive installations.
European officials have stated that they suspect Russia may be behind at least some of these incidents, though no drones have been recovered or shot down so far.
