An appeals hearing in the case of Milos Pleskovic, convicted of war crimes in Kosovo, will be held tomorrow (Monday).

The session is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Court of Appeals, after the verdict was appealed by both parties, Rks News reports.

The lawyer representing the victims’ families three Albanian civilians who were killed near Prizren is seeking life imprisonment for Pleskovic. Meanwhile, his defense attorney has requested a reduction of the 15-year prison sentence imposed by the Basic Court of Pristina.

Pleskovic was arrested in September 2023 and was found guilty and sentenced to 15 years in prison in July 2025.

According to the indictment filed by the Special Prosecution, on September 1, 1998, Pleskovic and other individuals in uniform were stationed on the hills surrounding Prizren “due to the conflict taking place in the area.”

He was accused of firing a Kalashnikov rifle at people in the Hoca neighborhood, who, according to the prosecution, had gone there to collect firewood.
