The largest imports include cars worth approximately €651 million, followed by fuel derivatives at €560 million and electricity at €259 million, according to data published by the GAP Institute, based on statistics from Kosovo Customs.

Other major imported products include cigarettes, steel bars, pharmaceuticals, non-alcoholic beverages, cement, confectionery, and cattle.

On the export side, electricity dominates with around €55 million, followed by plastics at €56 million and non-alcoholic beverages at €54 million. Other important export products include furniture, steel structures, steel pipes, women’s suits, mattresses, scrap metal waste, and textile garments.

According to the GAP Institute, citing Kosovo Customs, Kosovo imported goods worth around €7 billion in 2025, while the value of exports remained below €1 billion, totaling €929 million.
