KFOR Conducts Tactical Combat Training Exercises in Kosovo

Pristina | January 17, 2026U.S. soldiers and medical personnel from the KFOR Task Force, under NATO command in the Regional-East Command, have conducted Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) and Combat Lifesaver training at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo.

According to KFOR, the exercises aim to enhance tactical medical readiness and strengthen professional cooperation between NATO forces and local security institutions. These efforts are designed to promote long-term security and stability in the region.

“These initiatives increase tactical medical readiness and reinforce professional relationships between NATO forces and local security institutions – a key factor in promoting safety and long-term stability in the region,” KFOR stated in a press release.

The training focused on providing immediate medical care to injured personnel in combat scenarios, ensuring that soldiers and medics are prepared to respond effectively to battlefield injuries.

Such exercises are part of KFOR’s ongoing mission to maintain peace, security, and operational readiness in Kosovo, while building closer ties with local authorities to address potential security challenges.
