The Institute for War Crimes Committed During the Kosovo War (IKKL) has announced that it is continuing to collect and preserve authentic evidence of war crimes, steadily enriching its archival resources with valuable materials.

Key contributions recently received include:

  • Ridvan Slivova, a renowned photojournalist, officially delivered documentary materials that provide crucial evidence of crimes committed during the Kosovo War.
  • Shefki Mexhuani, former Executive Director of the “Vendlindja Thërret” Fund in the U.S., signed a handover protocol for archival materials documenting war crimes.
  • Gani Vila, director of Albanian TV of America, contributed media materials to support historical documentation and justice.

Additionally, IKKL staff met with journalist Ilire Zajmi, who visited the archives and expressed willingness to provide her own documentary materials. Selatin Novosella, from the Association of Political Prisoners in Prishtina, donated five books and signed a cooperation protocol, committing to further contributions documenting torture, imprisonment, and persecution of Albanians under Serbian repression since 1945.

Publicist Fadil Curri and Sadullah Krasniqi from Obiliq also contributed books reflecting Serbian regime repression of civilians, further aiding the preservation of historical memory.

The IKKL expressed gratitude to all contributors and called on citizens possessing documents, photographs, or testimonies from the war period to submit them to the institute, emphasizing that every preserved material is a step closer to truth, justice, and collective memory.
