Monday at 11:00 AM is the final deadline for political parties and candidates to submit complaints to the Electoral Complaints and Appeals Panel (PZAP) before the Central Election Commission (CEC) certifies election results.
The second-highest voted candidate of the Serb List, Igor Simić, has already announced a complaint. On Saturday, the party’s candidate list was not approved, with two votes against from LVV (Self-Determination Movement) and abstentions from other CEC members.
According to the Election Law, PZAP has four days to handle complaints. Parties can appeal further to the Supreme Court within two days of PZAP’s decision, and the court then has three days to issue a ruling. This timeline means a final decision could extend until mid-February.
