Bayraktar drones fly over Gjakova, the Minister and the Commander of the FSK observe their operation

Defense Minister Ejup Maqedonci has said that with Bayraktar drones in the inventory of weapon systems, Kosovo is stronger and feels more secure in the face of current and eventual threats and dangers.

Maqedonci and the commander of the KSF, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, today visited the Unmanned Aerial Systems unit (SAPP) at Gjakova Airport.

Through an announcement on Facebook, Maqedonci said that there they saw closely the operationalization of the capacities of Bayraktar TB-2 drones.

In order to closely observe the operations with Bayraktar drones carried out by officers of the Kosovo Security Force, together with the Commander of the KSF, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, we visited the SAPP unit at Gjakova Airport. There we got acquainted with the operationalization of the capacities of the Bayraktar TB-2 aircraft, demonstrated by the officers of the Unmanned Aerial Systems (SAPP) unit”, Maqedonci wrote.

Maqedonci has said that with Bayraktar drones in the inventory of weapon systems, Kosovo is stronger and feels more secure in the face of current and eventual threats and dangers.

“With the well-trained and dedicated officers and soldiers of our army and the Bayraktar drones in our weapons systems inventory, Kosovo is stronger and feels more secure in the face of current and potential threats and dangers. We will continue to equip our army with modern and sophisticated weapons systems, in the service of the defense and security of Kosovo and to maintain peace in the country and the region”, continued Maqedonci.
