The President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, has commemorated the late historical President of Kosovo, Ibrahim Rugova, on his 80th birthday.
In a post on Facebook, Begaj described Rugova as a rare and visionary president, who always looked towards the West for Kosovo’s future.
“80 years ago today, Kosovo gave birth to a rare and visionary President who always looked towards the West for the future. Time has proven his values as a statesman, values that we need today and always. All Albanians will always remember the birthday of the Eternal President Dr. Ibrahim Rugova with respect!” wrote the President of Albania.
