The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, who is facing arrest warrants from the central authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, issued a defiant statement against the institutions in Sarajevo, emphasizing that he would not allow anyone to arrest him, Rks News reports.
“I am protected by the structures of Republika Srpska. Our police and elite units are ready for any situation. They are not just professionals—they understand that any attack on me is an attack on our entire entity,” Dodik stated.
He highlighted the unwavering support he receives from Republika Srpska’s security forces.
“These forces are committed to defending Republika Srpska and what it represents. That’s why I strongly advise against any attempts to act against me,” he warned.
Dodik concluded his response by stating that any effort to arrest him would be met with resistance: “We are prepared to defend ourselves.”
