Activists from the group “Not a Cent More” have announced a new blockade at the Energy Regulatory Office (ZRRE) on Thursday from 08:00, protesting against the proposed electricity price increase.
The announcement did not provide further details, except for the time and a call for public participation in the demonstration, similar to the one held on Wednesday.
During Wednesday’s protest, 12 activists were detained by the police for two hours for obstructing ZRRE officials from entering their workplace.
Ongoing Protests Until Demands Are Met
The activists have vowed to continue their actions until the ZRRE formally commits to halting electricity price hikes.
