Hovenier and the State Department’s Undersecretary for Public Diplomacy visit archaeological sites

The Ambassador of the United States of America in Kosovo, Jeff Hovenier, and the Undersecretary of the Department of State for Public Diplomacy, Elizabeth Allen, have visited archeological sites in Kosovo, including the one in Dresnik.

During the visit, Ambassador Hovenier expressed that it is a wonderful experience to see the unfolding of the rich heritage of Kosovo alongside Undersecretary Allen.

He further stated that this work was made possible by the Fund of Ambassadors for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage.

“Wonderful experience to see the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Kosovo. Alongside the Under Secretary of the State Department for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Liz Allen, we unveiled some impressive Roman mosaics and visited the archaeological site of Dresnik, all work made possible by our Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) project – said the ambassador .
