Maqedonci and Kasanof Discuss Kosovo Security Force Deployments with U.S. Troops in International Missions

Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, and Kosovo Security Force (KSF) Commander, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, were received on Tuesday by the U.S. State Department’s Assistant Secretary, Alexander Kasanof.

According to a statement published by the Ministry of Defense, the meeting emphasized the importance of continued support for Kosovo’s diplomatic efforts towards integration into Euro-Atlantic structures.

The discussion also focused on planned deployments of KSF personnel in international missions alongside U.S. troops.

“In this context, the planned deployments of the Kosovo Security Force in international missions with U.S. troops were discussed. In addition to enhancing military interoperability, this collaboration will have a positive impact on strengthening Kosovo’s international subjectivity,” the statement noted.
