Kosovo’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, has reacted following the arrest of a suspect linked to the terrorist attack in Banjska, Zvecan.

In a statement shared on social media, Sveçla said that individuals involved in such acts will not be able to evade justice indefinitely and emphasized that there is no place for terrorism in Kosovo.

“Those responsible for terrorism have no place in our country, nor will they be able to escape accountability forever. Today, another wanted suspect, Stefan Radulovic, was arrested in connection with the terrorist attack in Banjska of Zvecan, aimed at the annexation of the north,” Sveçla stated.

He further stressed that authorities will continue to pursue all suspects without exception.

“The time of tolerance is over. They will be captured wherever they are found. We will continue relentlessly in upholding constitutionality and the rule of law,” he added.

The arrest is part of ongoing efforts by Kosovo institutions to investigate and prosecute those involved in the Banjska attack.
