In 2003, the International Labour Organization (ILO) officially declared April 28 as the World Day for Safety and Health at Work. The goal of this day is to encourage and strengthen the continuous need to create a safe and healthy workplace culture, minimizing accidents, illnesses, and fatalities among workers.
