Reports in Italy and France suggest that Napoli is in contact with the agent of Lille winger, Edon Zhegrova, regarding the possibility of a transfer to Stadio Maradona to replace the departing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, while discussions for Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho are also ongoing.
According to transfer expert Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sport, as well as Le Parisien and CalcioNapoli.it, Napoli is in talks with Zhegrova’s representatives, but Lille is currently unwilling to let the 25-year-old leave in January.
Le Parisien claims that personal terms with Zhegrova have already been agreed, but there is still a gap to bridge between the two clubs.
It is a similar situation for Napoli and Garnacho, who are said to have agreed on a series of personal terms, but there remains a significant difference in the valuation of the two clubs.
Antonio Conte’s team is actively seeking a new winger to add to their ranks this month following the departure of Kvaratskhelia to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Georgian has already left Napoli and is expected to officially complete his move to PSG in the coming days.
