Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that Iran’s Aerospace Force carried out an attack on a U.S. military base in Kuwait, as part of the 12th wave of its retaliatory operations against the United States.

According to the Iranian news agency Mehr, the IRGC stated that the strike hit a missile defense radar, several weapons storage facilities, two HIMARS launchers, and missiles stored at the base.

The Revolutionary Guard claimed the attack caused a major fire, but there has been no independent confirmation so far regarding the extent of the damage or any potential casualties.

According to the IRGC, the operation was carried out in response to recent U.S. strikes, which Tehran claims targeted civilian infrastructure, telecommunications and railway workers, as well as vehicles.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that it had completed another wave of strikes against Iranian military targets, marking the sixth consecutive night of U.S. operations against Iranian assets.

Tensions in the region have escalated since February, when the United States and Israel launched a joint offensive against Iran. Tehran has responded with missile and drone attacks targeting locations in Gulf countries hosting U.S. military bases and assets.
