Italian Carabinieri and Czech Military Police, as part of the KFOR mission, conducted a training exercise on crowd and riot control.
KFOR, in a Facebook post, stated that this activity highlights the importance of interoperability and international cooperation, which are essential for ensuring effective and coordinated interventions in stabilization missions and public order management.
“KFOR continues to implement its mandate – based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 – to contribute to a safe environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and to freedom of movement, at all times and impartially.”
“KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders,” the statement reads.
