The NATO-led KFOR mission’s Multinational Specialized Unit conducted a live-fire exercise in Pristina as part of efforts to maintain high operational readiness, reports Rks News.

This activity is part of KFOR’s daily efforts to ensure a safe and secure environment for all citizens of Kosovo.

The exercise was organized as a measure to guarantee that KFOR can act effectively in any situation, supporting security and freedom of movement for all people and communities in Kosovo.

The NATO-led KFOR mission’s Multinational Specialized Unit carried out live-fire exercises in Pristina to maintain a high level of operational readiness.

These efforts are part of KFOR’s daily mission to ensure a safe and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate—based on United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 (1999)—to contribute to a safe and secure environment and to the freedom of movement for all people and communities living in Kosovo, at all times. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) within their respective roles as security responders.
