Israel’s ambassador to Kosovo, Tamar Ziv, announced that by 2025, Kosovo citizens will be able to travel to Israel without a visa, after years of diplomatic work.

On February 1, 2025, it marks four years since Kosovo and Israel officially recognized each other as independent states. In light of this milestone, Israel’s Ambassador to Kosovo, Tamar Ziv, reassured the public that by the end of 2025, Kosovars will be able to travel to Israel without the need for a visa.

Speaking to Klan Kosova, Ambassador Ziv stated, “We have been working to build relations from the very beginning, focusing on various agreements between the two countries in fields like education and culture. We have signed an agreement on visa exemption, which I hope will come into effect very soon. Even though we don’t have an exact date yet, I can confirm that this will happen during 2025.”

This development marks a significant step in the relationship between Kosovo and Israel, providing greater mobility and fostering closer ties between the two nations.
