Kosovo’s Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has announced that there will be no traffic restrictions tomorrow for freight vehicles weighing more than 20 tonnes.

According to the Ministry, the decision was made after reviewing the official weather forecast, which indicates that temperatures are not expected to reach the threshold required for the temporary traffic restrictions to take effect.

The Ministry added that it will continue to monitor weather conditions on a daily basis and will promptly inform citizens and transport operators whenever the conditions for implementing the temporary restrictions are met.

The seasonal measures are typically introduced during periods of extreme heat to help protect road infrastructure from damage caused by heavy vehicles.
