The Kosovo Security Force (FSK) has finalized its participation in the International Stabilization Force (ISF) for Gaza, following the signing of a participation agreement during an official visit to Kosovo by ISF Gaza Commander Major General Jasper Jeffers and his team.

According to the FSK, the agreement was signed by FSK Commander Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari and representatives of the Board of Peace (BoP) and ISF Gaza.

Kosovo’s Defense Minister Ejup Maqedonci and a representative of the Board of Peace also attended the signing ceremony.

Jeffers welcomed Kosovo’s decision and readiness to contribute to the international mission, emphasizing the importance of the FSK’s contribution to efforts aimed at promoting peace, security and stability.

He also expressed appreciation to Kosovo’s leadership and institutions for their commitment to supporting the mission.

Jashari thanked Jeffers for his recognition of Kosovo’s contribution and for the cooperation, stressing that the FSK’s participation in international security missions forms part of Kosovo’s broader vision of making a concrete contribution to international peace and security.

“The FSK aims to continuously increase its contribution to international security, with a clear strategic objective of moving from a security importer to a security exporter,” the FSK said in its statement.

The signing of the agreement marks a significant step in strengthening Kosovo’s role as an active contributor to international efforts aimed at peace, security and stability.
