Kosovo Security Force Pilots Begin Training Flights at the Farka Air Base in Albania

The Ministry of Defense of Albania has welcomed the pilots of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), who will collaborate to increase the level of human capacity with Kosovo.

According to a post by the Ministry of Defense, the KSF pilots have started their training flights at the Farka Air Base with “Cougar” helicopters, after completing the theoretical phase.

“The cooperation to increase human capacity with Kosovo is at the core of the Ministry of Defense’s attention,” the post states.

In addition to the Defense and Security College and the Armed Forces Academy, other units of the Albanian Armed Forces have also opened their doors to KSF forces, as Kosovo and Albania have many dimensions of cooperation in the field of security.

In recent days, KSF pilots have begun training flights at the Farka Air Base with the “Cougar” helicopters, after completing the theoretical phase.

Together with KSF technicians, they are being assisted by the instructors of the Albanian Air Force to maintain their flight reflexes, which are crucial for the crews, according to the Albanian Air Force.
