The caretaker Government of Kosovo held an electronic meeting last night, during which it adopted several important decisions in the fields of healthcare, international cooperation, and technological innovation.
According to the government’s announcement, the executive established the Mandatory Health Care Fund of the Republic of Kosovo, describing it as a significant step toward strengthening the country’s healthcare financing system.
“The caretaker Government of the Republic of Kosovo has established the Mandatory Health Care Fund of the Republic of Kosovo,” the decision adopted during the electronic meeting states.
During the same meeting, the government also approved a request from the Ministry of Health for the allocation of €400,000 to implement an agreement with United Nations personnel.
“The request of the Ministry of Health for the allocation of budget funds in the amount of €400,000 for the implementation of the Agreement with the personnel of the United Nations has been approved,” the statement said.
The government also approved the allocation of €153,000 to support three events within the OctoberTech initiative, which aims to promote technology and innovation in Kosovo.
According to the decision, the funds were allocated “to support the implementation of three events within ‘OctoberTech’ – an initiative that brings together the largest technology and innovation events in Kosovo.”
In total, €553,000 was allocated through the decisions adopted during the electronic meeting for projects related to healthcare and technological development, while the establishment of the Mandatory Health Care Fund is considered one of the most significant decisions approved by the executive.
