The leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Memli Krasniqi, stated that the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) has created an unprecedented situation in the Assembly, accusing the party of violating the Constitution over the past four years.
Speaking to the media, Krasniqi said:
“We will not allow this legislature to begin with constitutional violations.”
“The situation created by Vetëvendosje is unprecedented. They themselves violated the Law on Government, which clearly states that the Prime Minister and ministers cannot be sworn in as MPs. For four years, they’ve breached the Constitution. That time is over.”
“We won’t let this new legislature start off with constitutional violations. By Kurti’s logic, even mayors should be here. Bedri Hamza should be here too,” he added.
