Acting Prime Minister and leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV), Albin Kurti, has reportedly sent invitations to Kosovo’s political parties for consultations aimed at advancing the formation of the country’s new institutions.
According to local media reports, the invitations are intended to initiate discussions on establishing the new governing institutions following the parliamentary elections, as political negotiations continue amid a prolonged institutional deadlock.
No official confirmation has yet been issued by the Prime Minister’s Office regarding the reported invitations. Authorities have also not disclosed details about the proposed meeting dates, the agenda, or which political parties are expected to participate.
The formation of Kosovo’s new institutions remains one of the country’s most pressing political challenges, with parties continuing negotiations over the establishment of the Assembly and the formation of a new government.
It remains unclear whether the reported consultations will lead to a breakthrough in the ongoing political impasse, as several parties have previously expressed differing positions on potential governing arrangements.
