Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti praised the legacy of Agim Ramadani, a hero of Kosovo’s liberation struggle, during the traditional event “Ditët e Agimit” (Agim Days), held today in Gjilan under the auspices of the Cultural Association “Ditët e Agimit” and the municipality of Gjilan.

Speaking at the event, which commemorates the life and work of Agim Ramadani, Kurti emphasized that Ramadani is not only remembered for his sacrifice during the Kosovo Liberation War but also for his political activism, military strategies, and his rich artistic contributions.

“Agim Ramadani had the most multifaceted profile: his military, political, and artistic legacy continues to surprise us as we witness his photographs, poems, paintings, and manuscripts,” Kurti remarked. He went on to describe Ramadani as a poet, painter, political activist, military strategist, and a patriot with an artistic soul whose inspiring legacy continues to influence the younger generations.

The Prime Minister emphasized that such events ensure the continued honoring of the martyrs of freedom, strengthening the bond of their memory across generations. “By remembering our martyrs as they were in life, we keep their memory alive and draw inspiration from their example,” Kurti added.

At the central event titled “I Këndojmë Agimit” (We Sing for Agim), Kurti wished attendees an enjoyable afternoon and evening, encouraging them to continue preserving the spirit of Agim Ramadani’s legacy for future generations.
