Prime Minister Albin Kurti spoke to journalists in front of the municipality of North Mitrovica, where he held a meeting with mayor Erden Atiq.
He said the purpose of his visit to this municipality was to provide government support for it.
“We discussed the progress of work here with Mayor Erden Atiq. Support as a government for this municipality and for all the services provided to citizens without discrimination,” Kurti stated.
Kurti also talked about his visits to the memorial of the slain police officer, Enver Zymberi, and the location where police officer Afrim Bunjaku was also killed.
“We also visited the memorial of Enver Zymberi, who would have been 45 years old now but was killed, as we know, in July 2011. Similarly, we visited the site of the criminal ambush where Afrim Bunjaku was killed on September 24 last year by paramilitaries and terrorists who now hide in Serbia,” the Prime Minister emphasized among other things.
