Under the authorization of the Acting Chief State Prosecutor, the Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Prizren, Petrit Kryeziu, participated today in the destruction of confiscated and seized narcotics from various criminal cases.
The destruction was carried out by a competent commission, including representatives from the Prosecutor’s Office, the Court, and the Kosovo Police, in accordance with standard procedures.
The following quantities of drugs and related items were destroyed:
- Marijuana: 347 kg and 804.79 grams
- Cocaine: 886.89 grams
- Heroin: 7 kg and 788.7 grams
- Cannabis plants: 8 units
- Cannabis seeds: 100 kg and 37.7 grams
- Psychedelic mushrooms: 155.7 grams
- Cash: 160 euros
- Suitcases/bags: 3 units
The destruction process took place in a licensed facility, adhering to legal standards and safety practices.
This operation was supported by the Home Affairs Programme of the European Union in Kosovo (HAPE), funded by the European Union.
The State Prosecutor’s Office remains committed to combating all forms of criminality and protecting public safety.
