The governments of Kosovo and North Macedonia have inaugurated a joint border crossing point, named “Hani i Elezit – Bllacë.”
Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski, emphasized that this joint border crossing represents a passage of European values.
“This joint border point is a passage of European values. Today, we unite the people on both sides of the border by building a shared future. History has often played a role in dividing us, but today, the future begins here — for two states that aim to join the European Union,” Mickoski stated.
The new crossing is seen as a step toward closer regional cooperation and a symbol of shared aspirations for EU integration.
