Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a fresh warning to Iran on Tuesday, saying Israel would respond with significantly greater force if it comes under attack again, as the ceasefire between the United States and Iran continues to unravel, CNN reports.

Speaking at the Negev Conference in Dimona, Netanyahu stressed that Iran should not expect Israel’s response to resemble previous military operations.

“Do not assume there will be calm if you attack us. Do not expect a repeat. Because it will not be a repeat, and what happened before was already powerful enough. This will be something different—much more powerful,” Netanyahu said.

The conference took place in Dimona, near Israel’s main nuclear research center, underscoring the strategic significance of his remarks.

According to the report, Iran last launched an attack against Israel on June 8, following Israeli strikes targeting Hezbollah positions in Beirut. Israeli officials had reportedly prepared for a much broader escalation with Iran before U.S. President Donald Trump downplayed the Iranian ballistic missile attacks and announced a ceasefire.

Netanyahu’s latest comments come amid renewed regional tensions, with both Washington and Tehran accusing each other of violating the ceasefire agreement and exchanging new military strikes.
