The graffiti “Here We Are” placed by the “Civil Protection” is expected to be removed soon.

This comes as the building near the Zubin Potok Municipality is set to be transferred to a state institution.

This annex, which was previously part of the Zubin Potok Municipality, will now belong to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MPB) starting today, after the ministry made a request to the municipality a few days ago.

On Friday, the Municipal Assembly held a session to discuss the matter.

The proposal was presented by the assembly chairperson, Vedat Mehmeti, who stated that the Ministry of Internal Affairs will use this building for administrative purposes.

The proposal received support from the municipality’s mayor, Izmir Zeqiri, who mentioned that the building would house officials responsible for issuing passports and identity cards.

However, there was opposition from a member of the Serbian party, the Civil Movement, Slavisha Bieshvac.

After consultations, the decision was approved with 13 votes in favor, 2 against, and no abstentions.

According to data held by the Cadastre Directorate, this building had previously been the property of the Zubin Potok Municipality.
