“After the proposal I sent to the United States as the President of the Republic in 2021, which was later reconfirmed in June 2022 through a verbal note and in my meeting with Secretary Blinken in July 2022, as well as after the extraordinary work of our teams over the past years, today in my meeting with U.S. Deputy Secretary Verma, it was confirmed that Kosovo and the U.S. will soon finalize the Strategic Dialogue,” she wrote.
Osmani emphasized that this is “an extraordinary achievement that proves that a genuine partnership, based on shared values and interests, always brings results.”
“I thank the Government of the United States for their support to the people of Kosovo, and I look forward to continuing our intensive cooperation for the benefit of Kosovo. Our teams will meet soon to finalize the agreement for the Strategic Dialogue, which will include many important areas in the interest of the citizens of Kosovo,” the President wrote.
