President Vjosa Osmani has concluded her official state visit to Malaysia, which she described as highly successful and meaningful for deepening ties between the two nations.
During her stay in Kuala Lumpur, Osmani held dozens of high-level meetings with institutional leaders, business figures, and diplomatic representatives from Malaysia.
One of the key highlights was the official opening of the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Malaysia—a pivotal step in strengthening diplomatic presence and regional cooperation.
“Kosovo and Malaysia—a partnership born in Kosovo’s hardest days, when Malaysia stood by us, and one that is growing stronger and more meaningful each day,” Osmani wrote on Facebook, sharing photos from the visit.
The president praised the warm hospitality and dedication of Malaysian authorities to further cooperation in various fields, including:
- Economy
- Education
- Technology
- Cultural exchange
“An unforgettable welcome and honor for Kosovo, along with a clear promise to support mutual development and empowerment. Thank you! Terima Kasih!” she concluded.
The embassy opening in Kuala Lumpur is seen as a strategic step in expanding Kosovo’s global partnerships and a clear signal of its ongoing international engagement.
