The Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani will undertake an official visit to Malaysia from May 1 to May 4. This marks Osmani’s first visit to Malaysia since assuming office as President.
According to the ministry, Osmani will receive an official welcome in the capital, Putrajaya, followed by a meeting with Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade, investment, education, and people-to-people ties.
The Malaysian Foreign Ministry also noted that Malaysia recognized Kosovo on October 30, 2008, and was among the first Asian countries to recognize its independence.
