Prishtina Mayor Përparim Rama has arrived at the premises of the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo.
According to media reports, he is expected to be questioned in the capacity of a suspect in connection with the “Capital Architect” project.
The main suspicions surrounding the “Capital Architect” project in Prishtina relate to public procurement procedures, the high contract value of €12 million, as well as alleged staff manipulation and conflicts of interest.
On July 22, 2022, the Capital City Municipality launched a tender for “Consultancy for the Establishment of the Capital Architect Service for the Needs of the Municipality of Prishtina”.
The tender was worth €12 million, while the contract was set to run for 36 months.
