President of the Republic of Kosovo, Justina Shiroka Pula, met today with the head of the Islamic Community of Kosovo, Mufti Naim Tërnava, who congratulated her on assuming office and wished her success in carrying out her mandate.
During the meeting, they discussed the importance of interfaith coexistence and preserving Kosovo’s tradition of tolerance, understanding and mutual respect.
President Shiroka Pula praised the contribution of the Islamic Community of Kosovo to promoting interfaith harmony and strengthening the values of solidarity, peace and understanding among citizens.
She emphasized that interfaith coexistence and respect for diversity are important values of Kosovo’s society and an integral part of its civic identity values that must continue to be preserved and nurtured in the future.
