Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani today met with Etem Arifi, the chairman of the Ashkali Party for Integration.

Third Day of Consultations Amidst Deadlock

The President is now on her third consecutive day of consultations with representatives of parties holding seats in the Kosovo Assembly. These meetings aim to find a solution to the ongoing institutional deadlock preventing the Assembly’s constitution.

In addition to Arifi, earlier today, President Osmani also met with Veton Berisha, a deputy representing the Egyptian community.

Yesterday, Osmani held consultative meetings with the leaders of “Guxo,” “Alternativa,” “ZSP,” “KDTP,” “IRDK,” “SDS,” “JGS,” “PREBK,” “NDS,” and the “VAKAT” Coalition.

She also previously hosted the leaders of the country’s largest parties to discuss finding a resolution for the constitution of the ninth legislature of the Kosovo Assembly.
