The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, along with elected deputies, members of the government cabinet, and activists from the Vetëvendosje! Movement, visited the family of the late Sylejman Shaqiri in Ferizaj to offer condolences. Shaqiri was the former General Director of Radio Television of Kosovo and a renowned journalist.
Prime Minister Kurti expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Shaqiri family and all the friends of the deceased for this great loss.
“A professional with competence and integrity, a citizen with generosity and patriotism, a Ferizaj native with knowledge and taste, Sylejman Shaqiri has left an indelible mark, an invaluable contribution, and unforgettable memories to all of us who knew him and to society as a whole,” the Prime Minister wrote in the condolence book.
