The Prishtina Regional Police carried out a series of law enforcement operations over the past week, executing hundreds of court orders while intensifying efforts to enhance public safety across the region.
According to a police statement, officers enforced a total of 228 court orders through separate operations conducted at various locations. Of these, 52 were related to criminal offenses, while the remaining orders concerned misdemeanors, court hearings, and other judicial procedures.
Following the completion of police procedures, individuals sentenced to prison were transferred to correctional facilities to serve their sentences, while those ordered to pay fines were released after fulfilling their legal obligations.
As part of the same operations, police also stepped up security measures, seizing 13 firearms of various types and calibers.
Traffic enforcement was also intensified during the reporting period. Authorities issued 4,416 fines for various traffic violations, including 688 offenses detected through smart patrol vehicles and mobile radar systems.
The Prishtina Regional Police said it will continue increasing operational activities aimed at preventing crime, enforcing the law, and improving public safety throughout the region.
