The Municipality of Pristina has provided six buses to transport Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) veterans to Tirana for the nationwide protest scheduled for Monday.
The decision was signed by Pristina’s mayor, Përparim Rama.
“Today I signed the decision to provide transportation for the veterans of the Kosovo Liberation Army who will participate in the nationwide protest on October 17 in Tirana,” Rama wrote.
Rama emphasized that veterans are not only part of the past but an essential part of the national conscience.
“Our veterans are not just part of history — they are part of our national consciousness. Pristina, as the capital of Kosovo, will continue to serve as an example of institutional respect, political culture, and public gratitude,” he stated.
With deep respect for all veterans, families of martyrs, and all those who keep alive the memory of our freedom, Rama concluded his message:
“See you in Tirana. You deserve the respect of an entire nation.”
