Germany’s Ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, praised the joint efforts of Kosovo and German police in a successful operation this week targeting organized crime, specifically fraud involving “Call Center” businesses in Kosovo.
He expressed gratitude to the officers involved, stating:
“This week, German and Kosovo police successfully carried out a joint operation against Call Center fraud in Kosovo. This highlights the excellent cooperation between our authorities in combating organized crime. Thank you to all officers involved for the outstanding teamwork,” he wrote on X.
The operation resulted in 20 arrests and the confiscation of €120,000, according to Kosovo Police. Authorities searched 14 locations in Prishtina, Ferizaj, Kaçanik, and Klinë.
