A serious incident occurred this morning in the village of Prekaz i Epërm, Skenderaj, where a man sustained severe bodily injuries while cutting down an oak tree in a nearby forest, Rks News reports.
According to sources from Rks News, Lulzim Osmani, 43 years old, was injured when branches from the oak tree he was cutting fell on him.
Initially, the injured man was taken to the Emergency Clinic in Skenderaj, and later to the Regional Hospital in Mitrovica, where he received first aid.
Following preliminary examinations and due to suspected spinal injuries, he was transferred to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (QKUK) in Pristina for specialized treatment.
Medical sources report that his condition is stable, despite the serious nature of the injuries.
Police units have responded to the scene and interviewed all individuals present at the time of the incident.
