Acting Chief State Prosecutor, Besim Kelmendi, is being interviewed today by the Special Prosecution in connection with the investigation into the Reçak massacre. His testimony began after 1:00 PM.
The Special Prosecution confirmed that Kelmendi was summoned as a witness and emphasized his willingness to contribute to the investigative process.
“The Special Prosecution can confirm that the Acting Chief State Prosecutor, Mr. Besim Kelmendi, has been invited for an interview as a witness, within the investigative process related to the case in question. The Special Prosecution values Mr. Kelmendi’s readiness and contribution to clarifying a criminal matter currently under its review,” the statement reads.
