Tourists Are Increasingly Choosing Kosovo as Visits Rise in June

Tourism in Kosovo continued its positive trend during June 2026, with hotels recording an increase in the number of visitors compared to the same period last year.

According to data published by the Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS), a total of 70,234 visitors were registered in the country’s hotels during June, including 28,638 domestic visitors and 41,596 foreign tourists.

Compared to June 2025, when 63,502 visitors were recorded, the total number increased by 10.6 percent, reflecting growing interest in Kosovo as a tourist destination.

The number of overnight stays also reached a high level, totaling 163,739 nights. Of these, 85,783 overnight stays (52.4%) were generated by foreign visitors, while 77,956 (47.6%) were from domestic tourists.

KAS reported that the number of foreign visitors alone increased by 5.2 percent compared to June of last year. The largest number of international tourists came from Albania, Germany, Türkiye, and Switzerland, confirming the growing interest of foreign travelers in Kosovo.
