The White House announced today that President Donald Trump is actively reviewing over 15 trade deal proposals, following his decision to enact a temporary 90-day pause on newly introduced reciprocal tariffs.

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters that the proposals are being examined as part of a broader effort to reshape U.S. trade relations.

“We have more than 15 trade agreements on the table—proposals currently under review,” said Leavitt, without disclosing specifics about the countries or content of the proposals.

She emphasized the scale of international interest, noting:

“As we’ve said repeatedly, more than 75 countries have reached out. There’s a lot of work ahead.”

The tariff pause, enacted last week, temporarily halts a new wave of duties that affected dozens of countries, including both U.S. allies and adversaries. Officials say the pause aims to create space for meaningful negotiations and new trade frameworks.

However, China remains excluded from the pause. Most Chinese goods continue to face a steep 145% tariff, with the exception of some electronic devices.

The Trump administration has defended the tariffs as a way to rebalance global trade in favor of American workers, but critics argue they risk sparking retaliatory measures and harming diplomatic ties.

Further announcements on trade deals are expected in the coming weeks as negotiations continue behind closed doors.
