US Embassy in Tirana: We Support SPAK’s Fight Against Crime and Corruption

The United States Embassy in Albania has congratulated SPAK Chief Klodjan Braho and National Bureau of Investigation Director Joni Keta on their new leadership roles, reaffirming strong American support for Albania’s efforts against organized crime and corruption.

During a meeting at the Embassy, Chargé d’Affaires Nancy VanHorn praised the commitment and responsibility of the two leaders.

“We congratulate Special Prosecutor Klodjan Braho and NBI Director Joni Keta on their new leadership roles,” the Embassy statement said, emphasizing that the United States fully supports SPAK’s efforts in combating organized crime, drug trafficking, and corruption.

The Embassy highlighted that this support is part of a broader strategic commitment to strengthening the rule of law and security, both in Albania and internationally.

“We stand united in the fight against international crime,” the statement added.
