The United States Mission to NATO highlighted what it described as a “historic increase” in allied investments in the military alliance.
“NATO allies’ investments increased by more than 20% in just the past year, with allies spending $139 billion more than in 2025,” the US Mission to NATO wrote on X.
“This historic increase in investment is restoring balance within the Alliance and reducing the burden on the United States,” the mission added.
